Raina Telgemeier: Worst To Best Books

       If you don't know who Raina Telgemeier is then what have you done with your life? Anyway, she is an artist that makes graphic novels in my age range. Now, i'm bot saying any of these books are bad I like all of them. Also these are my own opinions sooooooooooooooooooooooo please don't hurt me. Okay, now that that's out of the way, let's get started!

                                                       5.Guts

                      

   Guts is her latest one and it's a true story about her. Now, I can actually relate to this a bit because I also used to suffer from severe anxiety (not about sickness or food though) I would think of every single bad outcome in my head and I would never get any rest.

  But as I was reading this whole book, it kept on talking about barf and poop and it mad kinda feel grossed out.

                              4.Drama

Drama is kind of just a classic High School love triangle story. One thing that really sets it apart from the others, is that there are a few LGBTQ+ characters. I don't really have much to saw about it other than "you are a decent book"

3.Ghosts

Ghosts is probably one of my favorite Raina Telgemeier stories. I love the dead spirits and the festival. My favorite character was the little girl, who had Cystic Fibrosis. She  had a disability but she didn't let anything get in her way of having a good time! This book is sweet and charming in a way not all of her books are so this one is pretty high up on this list.

2.Smile

Smile was Raina's first original book. (i'm not counting baby sitters club because she didn't make those stories up.) Anyway Raina's journey through her accident, and how long it took her to get better, really made me feel for her. I also can relate to how her friends treated her for such a long time. I already had manipulative friends by the time I was in first grade! I also got social anxiety after and didn't know if I could trust anyone. To put it short, this is just an amazing book and you should definitely check it out.

1.Sisters

Sisters is the all time best Raina Telgemeier book. It's pretty relatable on it's sibling aspect. Now, I don't have a little brother like Will so we will just say my cat can take that spot. Raina and Amara have literally the exact same relationship as me and my brother. Also this book won a Will Eisner Award so that really says something!
